Mondays and Wednesdays from 4:45 - 5:30 PM

Weapons class from 5:30 to 6 PM on Mondays only

Tuition is $85.00* monthly per student

$50.00* monthly for JCC members

Class Description An invigorating program designed for children of all ages. Your child will learn, above all, the following: self-control, discipline, etiquette and sincerity.  The curriculum covers self-defense, history of karate, flexibility, kata (forms), weapons, and much more. Location   Jewish Community Center (Boynton Beach) 8500 Jog Rd. Boynton Beach, FL   33472 From I-95 - Exit Gateway Blvd. and head West approx. 6 miles to Jog Road.  Turn right (North) on Jog and the JCC will be on your right hand side. From Florida's Turnpike - Exit Boynton Beach Blvd. and head East approx. 2 miles to Jog Road.  Turn left (North) on Jog Rd. and the JCC will be on your right hand side, just after the intersection of Jog Rd. and Gateway Blvd.

Frequently Asked Questions

Are parents welcome to watch?

   Yes, parents are always welcome and encouraged to watch their children.  In fact, the children will be more comfortable with your presence.

How many instructors are present?

   There are two main instructors, Sensei Floyd and Sensei Dermo.  An assistant to the instructors is present as well.  This allows for flexibility of the class and allows individualized attention on the children.

What is the class size?

   There are usually 10-15 children in a session, aged 5 to 12.

My child studied another martial art.  Will my child adapt?

   Absolutely!  In fact, we all started elsewhere other than Ryukyu Kempo.  We understand the worries of having a child be enrolled in a new art, but be assured that our qualified instructors will do their best to ensure a welcoming and enjoyable learning experience for all students.
